Ryko’s Lisa Clark Honored by Greater Houston Builders Association Again
February 17, 2014 (HOUSTON, TX) --- It’s not the first time Lisa Clark of Ryko Development has been named Houston’s Developer of the Year! In 2006, she was honored as the first female to ever receive this award from the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), and now by being honored once more with the title of Developer of the Year 2013, her name is again etched in the record books as the first female to twice receive the award.
The award presented by GHBA recognizes excellence in workmanship, customer service, and community involvement. Each year the GHBA honors five prestigious members in following categories: Custom Home Builder, Production Builder, Remodeler, Developer, and Associate. Chartered in 1941, the GHBA is a trade organization whose members are involved in the development, homebuilding, and remodeling industry in 11 counties comprising the Houston Metropolitan area. With 15,000 member companies, it is the largest builders association in Texas and the third largest in the United States.
“I’m truly thrilled to have been recognized by the GHBA again,” said Lisa Clark, Vice President of Ryko Development. “As a female developer and dedicated employee of Ryko, the honor feels extraordinary.”
Clark credits the success of the company to attentive planning and design, a dedicated team of builders, and an unwavering focus on taking care of the little things to create a truly premier resort-style community.
For over two decades, Ryko Development has earned a reputation for developing premiere lake destinations due to the phenomenal success of all of their residential communities, starting with their early developments of Lakes on Eldridge, Lakes on Eldridge North and Villages at Lakepointe in Houston, to their current developments of Lakes of Bella Terra in Richmond, Texas and BeechTree in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
