With summer coming to an end, Lamar Consolidated ISD students and families are preparing to get in gear for the 2017-18 school year. Check out this list of information and calendar dates to make sure your child is ready for the start of the school year on Aug. 28:

Bus schedules:

Find out what bus route your child should take by using the LCISD portal. Parents can call 832-223-0280 for questions regarding school zones or for additional bus route information.

School supplies:

A comprehensive school supplies list for respective elementary, middle school and junior high students can be found on the LCISD general information guide. The guide also includes information on elementary school dress codes, registration information and important numbers. The 2017-18 academic calendar runs from Aug. 28 to June 7 for a total of 176 instructional days. The following is a list of major school holidays and professional holidays to be aware of for the new school year:
