Residents of Lakes of Bella Terra enjoy easy access to everything Fort Bend County has to offer. From wineries to teahouses – you don’t have to go far to enjoy the good things in life. Here are some examples of what is opening within 10 miles of the community, according to reports by Community Impact.
Waters Edge Winery & Bistro will open this fall at 4828 Waterview Town Center Drive, Ste. 700, Richmond. The family-owned winery will offer an expansive wine selection and bistro-style food pairings as well as private event packages.
Houston Axe Throwing held grand opening activities for its newest location at 1718 Fry Road, Ste. 110, Houston. Guests throw axes that weigh about 1.5 pounds at a 12-foot distance. Trainers also provide safety tips and instructions on how to throw. Houston Axe Throwing also hosts an Axe Throwing League.
Restore Hyper Wellness + Cryotherapy opened in early July at 23116 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy. The health care business offers cryotherapy, IV drip and other therapies, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and compression therapy.
Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen located at 230 W. Grand Parkway S., Katy, will open Nov. 10. The eatery offers a menu with fajita bowls, tacos and margaritas.
The Little Teahouse opened in early June at 4031 FM 1463, Ste. 60. Its menu includes a variety of cream, fruit, classic and yogurt tea flavors, such as green, passion fruit, honeydew, rose, lychee, black and matcha.
Pablo’s Restaurant and Club opened May 1 at 25757 Westheimer Parkway, Ste. 130, Katy. The menu includes international dishes, such as Korean fried beef, ceviche, burgers, tacos, flatbread pizza, lamb kebab, salmon and curry. It also offers a drink menu of wine, beer and mixed drinks.
Amazon's new sorting center is now open at 22525 Clay Road, Katy. The 800,000-square-foot building opened Oct. 9 and will serve as a facility to sort packages before they are transferred to a delivery station or to a last-mile delivery partner for final delivery for customers. The center will employ over 3,000 full- and part-time employees starting at $15 per hour.
The Sugar Land Business Park is expanding with the addition of a new 320,000-square-foot industrial development, according to a press release from the city of Sugar Land. The project will redevelop the former National Oilwell Varco site at 500 Industrial Blvd., Sugar Land. The site was purchased by Lovett Industrial LLC in 2019 and was targeted for redevelopment.
Zivel will open a new location in the Katy area in mid-November. Zivel offers flotation therapy, infrared sauna and cryotherapy services, which use extreme cold temperatures in a controlled environment to aid tissue healing, inflammation reduction and recovery speed. The business will be located at 9727 Spring Green Blvd.
