It’s a remarkable time to be looking for a new home in West Houston. The city of Richmond has seen incredible growth that has resulted in improved roadways, ample housing options, access to quality healthcare along with shopping and dining experiences. And when it comes to food, the options keep getting better and better! Here are a couple fresh new eateries opening within 10 miles of Lakes of Bella Terra according to a recent article by Community Impact.

Salata – 3 miles away

A new Salata will open by the end of summer at 9555 Spring Green Blvd., Katy. The Houston-based salad franchise has grown into over five new markets as of 2016 and is one of the fastest growing salad chains in the state. Customers can create their own custom-made salads by choosing from a range of lettuce mixes, more than 50 toppings and a variety of Salata’s house-made dressings.

Grazia Italian Kitchen – 5.5 miles away 

Grazia Italian Kitchen will open a third location at 22764 Westheimer Parkway, Ste. 600, Katy this spring in the Villagio Town Center. The restaurant will hold a soft opening dinner service from 5-10 p.m. April 19. The eatery offers traditional Italian meals and local favorites including smoked beef short ribs and risotto. 

Sweet Paris Crêperie – 6 miles away

Sweet Paris Crêperie & Cafê’s newest location at La Centerra held a soft opening April 8 and is now open.  The 80-seat, 1,824-square-foot restaurant located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. S120, Katy, serves sweet, savory and breakfast crepes. Breakfast crepes will be available until 3 p.m. daily. Salads, soups, paninis, waffles and milkshakes are also on the menu.

Square Root Poke – 9 miles away

Square Root Poke opened Feb. 18 at the still-developing Katy Asian Town. Located at 23119 Colonial Parkway, Ste. C9, Katy, the family-owned restaurant offers a twist on the traditional Hawaiian dish poke, otherwise known as a raw fish salad. Customers can customize their own poke bowls from a selection of protein options that include raw fish, vegan and cooked options with unlimited mix-ins. 

Black Bear Diner – 10 miles away

Black Bear Diner opened its first restaurant in Texas March 19 at 24600 I-10, Ste. 900, Katy. The full-service, family dining restaurant chain serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as home-style comfort food in a bear-themed atmosphere. In honor of the chain’s first Texas restaurant, Black Bear Diner donated $10,000 to Katy High School for hurricane relief and repair.
