Home decor shop At Home opened at 4833 Waterview Meadow Drive, Richmond, in late October. The store sells a variety of furniture, mirrors, rugs, housewares and other seasonal items with over 50,000 items in stock. 

Katy Sports and Fitness, 26440 FM 1093, Ste. A190, Richmond, is expected to be fully open by Friday, Oct. 20. The fitness-based sports facility is open to all ages and offers after school programs that include daily fitness regimens as well as summer camps, personal training, a premier baseball program and youth and adult classes.

A Hobby Lobby is expected to open next year at 10247 W. Grand Parkway S. The 55,000 square-foot building is under construction and is the first Hobby Lobby location in the Richmond area.

A Kumon will open in early November at 9107 FM 723 Road, Ste. 150, Richmond. The math and reading center offers learning services for children ages prekindergarten to grade 12. 

Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken & Seafood opened at 7119 FM 1464, Ste. 360, Richmond, in late August. The Cajun food franchise offers a wide variety of menu items that include po'boys, gumbo and chicken or shrimp fried rice.
