Here’s another great line-up of new restaurants opening in Richmond, Sugarland and Katy! These places are all less than 10 miles from Lakes of Bella Terra West, meaning even more access to delicious places to eat. Here are some examples of what is opening this season according to reports by Community Impact.
The Sauer Kraut Grill opened its first brick-and-mortar location at 734 Crabb River Road, Richmond, on Jan. 9 after five years as a food truck in Houston. The restaurant serves authentic German food with a Texas twist, and its menu offerings include schnitzel sandwiches, burgers, bratwurst, side dishes, and beer and wine.
Saigon USA Pho & Grill held a grand opening for a new location in Katy at 28818 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. 100, on Dec. 8. The menu includes pho, dim sum, banh mi, rice plates, salads and Chinese-style lo mein. Saigon USA has another location in The Woodlands.
Karma Kolache held a grand opening in late 2019 for a new location at 23108 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy. The business offers doughnuts and kolaches stuffed with a variety of ingredients such as brisket, chorizo, eggs and potatoes. 281-392-7877
Burgerim, located at 25830 Westheimer Parkway, Ste. 500, Katy, opened in Nov. 22. The restaurant specializes in American cuisine, and menu items feature burgers, wings, chicken tenders and milkshakes.
Taste Buds Cereal Bar plans to open in April at 1801 N. Mason Road, Katy, said Courtney Thomas, who owns the business with his wife, Jazmin Thomas. The cereal bar will serve a menu of cereal, cereal-infused smoothies and cake as well as cereal strudel. The business will also host birthday party packages with customizable cereal bowls, a personalized cereal box and retro video games.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe opened at 6445 FM 1463, Ste. 190, Katy, at the end of December. The juice shop offers smoothies, sandwiches, wraps and salads. 281-346-8932.
Mediterranean Pearl Seafood Grill opened in early December at 450 S. Mason Road, Katy. The family-friendly restaurant serves a menu that includes seafood-based dishes with shrimp, tilapia, squid ink, salmon, red snapper, clams and mussels. Meals are made-to-order and offer a taste tour of Mediterranean cuisine.
